Boho/Industrial Styled Shoot

OH MAN! It was a RAINY day for a styled shoot!

Shelby, from Shelby Chante Photography, contacted me a while back wanting to do a boho styled shoot at this awesome new Industrial venue in Buffalo, MO called Market 116. Maybe you’ve heard of it?!?! It’s amazing! I hadn’t had the chance to see it in person yet, and so when I had the opportunity to get out there-I jumped on it! What made it even better is that she also asked one of my favorites to work with-Checotah, with The Event Styling Company to be part of the shoot as well!

After a couple brain storming sessions with Checotah, we finally pieced together in our head some of the details we wanted to have for the shoot!

Then it came time for the day…thankfully it was a dry drive there. And it even stayed dry while we were unloading! (Ps.  A huge thank you to the lovely Market 116 people for helping us unload some heavy objects-this pregnant lady has her limits these days!). But as we begin to setup, the weather rolled in!

Despite a few setbacks, and the rainy day–I think it turned out just beautifully! Take a look for yourself…..

I love this invitation suite that The Event Styling Company designed. It set the tone for our geometric loving boho/industrial shoot (I’m not sure how many styles can be mixed into one shoot-but we like a hodge podge every once in a while!)

And then there were our Hexagon Wood Chalk Signs we setup as our table seating chart! I absolutely LOVED this detail.

And, to carry that theme along-we also had these adorable hexagon Mr & Mrs Name Cards and Chair Signs for an added touch. All of these lovelies were made by our sister company TLC Engraving. Also take note of that intricately engraved wooden plate charger! I love them!

To get that boho flair in there, we incorporated our macrame pieces. You can see the chair hangings in the above photos, but we also utilized our macrame backdrop for the ceremony setup, and our accent wall hanging for the lounge area.

Oh! And…this sweet couple is actually getting married here pretty soon. So, to not completely lose the moment of when he first got to see her in a wedding dress (even though it’s not the one she’ll be wearing for their special day) Shelby still snuck a few “first look” photos. So sweet to see.

I’ll let you feast your eyes on the remainder of the beauty of this styled shoot now….enjoy!
