This shoot was an organized effort months in the works, and when it came down to the day of it was pouring down rain in the morning, and I was so worried that it would maybe have to be cancelled. But thankfully, the skies cleared and though it was an extremely muggy July evening, everyone was a trooper through it all!!!

It isn’t typical for a “rental company” to be the one to organize a styled shoot, but I was chomping at the bit to be able to work with local vendors, and this was the brain child of it all. I knew I had this picture in my head of what it would look like, and thanks to the amazing skills of Checotah at The Event Styling Company, it came to life even better than what it was in my head. My hope was to be able to use all local vendors to be able to showcase the fact that you don’t have to go to Springfield, or Branson or other larger areas like those, to have a GORGEOUS wedding. In fact, all of that and more is hidden right here in our backyard of Willow Springs! And WOW! I was blown away by how it all came together, and how beautifully Shelby captured it all. Down to every last detail-it was perfect! I could gush all day about each of the amazing ladies! Christy, at Vintage Floral, created beautiful bouquets, boutonnieres and florals for the shoot. They were what made it all! And she was so helpful in the process of renting the suit for the shoot. The girls from Curl Up & Dye did an AMAZING job with the hair and makeup. Jessi whipped out gorgeous hair, with very little direction to go off of, and I was so thrilled to see what she came up with! And let’s not forget the cake! I think I’m salivating right now just thinking about it. Janet from DeLish Designs is SO good at what she does! And none of it would have been the same without the incredible hospitality of Laura at Chapel in the Woods. She was so sweet! In the midst of setting up on this muggy day, she came out with 2 of the most refreshing glasses of sweet tea for Checotah and I! One of my biggest shoutouts of gratitude goes to the amazing “models” for this shoot. What a fun experience it was to meet Cori and her husband who so graciously put up with layers of heavy clothing on such a HUMID day. And Bree was the best maid of honor that a stranger could ask for 😉

I hope you enjoy drooling over the collaborative efforts of some of these hidden gems of the Ozarks when it comes to the wedding industry! I highly recommend all of them….
